"squeezed up"

On February 7, 2014, a lecture by Judith Goetz entitled "Das rechtsextreme Geschlecht" took place at the Autonome Zentrum Linz. In the lecture, literary and political scientist Judith Goetz showed how masculinity and femininity are negotiated in the extreme right in this country and how images of women and "female" forms of action have developed. Goetz emphasized that the presence of women has a stabilizing effect on the right-wing scene because they not only improve the image to the outside world, but also facilitate entry into civil society areas such as parents' councils, associations, etc.

There were three topics to choose from: "activist techniques", "queerfeminist strategies" and "media of self-determined protest". You can listen to the second part of the panel discussion on dortTV. Moderated by Roswitha Kröll, the following activists had their say: Tanja Araujo, Marty Huber, Marissa Lobo, Gin Müller and Xhejlane Rexhepi.
