Workshop: "Strategien kritisch-künstlerischer Praxen"

FIFTITU% Networking Center for Women in Art and Culture in Upper Austria invites you to:

"Strategies of critical-artistic practices"
Workshop with Iris Borovčnik and Marissa Lobô

The workshop will deal with critical-artistic practices that dissolve or negate the boundaries between art and activism. The starting point of our practice is the observation that art is not independent, free or decoupled from social power relations, but is always about negotiating positions in existing spaces. Who can speak and who is heard? How is one's own position communicated in art production? We will discuss examples, strategies of disruption and parody and other forms that intervene in the everyday order

The workshop will be both theoretical and practical; in the second part we will plan and realize an intervention in public space in Linz.

Registration requested: Tel.: 0732/770353 or e-mail: workshop@fiftitu.at
Costs: € 15 (discount for members)
Location: Architekturforum Oberösterreich, Herbert-Bayer-Platz 1, 4020 Linz (barrier-free)

If necessary, travel costs will be partially reimbursed.
A lump sum will be reimbursed for childcare

This event is part 3 of the 3-part event series "We are not equal, but some are more equal"
